Project Overview
The Robotics Learning & STEM Kit E-Commerce App is a complete mobile learning and commerce platform designed to make robotics, artificial intelligence, coding, and STEM education more interactive and accessible for students.
The application brings together live online classes, structured video lessons, student-teacher interaction, educational robotics kit shopping, order management, delivery address selection, and profile management in one unified mobile experience.
The platform was developed using Flutter with a modern, responsive, and visually engaging user interface. Separate workflows are provided for students and teachers, allowing each user type to access features relevant to their role.
The Challenge
The main challenge was to combine multiple complex modules such as live video communication, recorded learning content, comments and replies, e-commerce, cart management, checkout, delivery addresses, maps, order tracking, and role-based functionality without making the application feel complicated.
The goal was to create a clean and easy-to-use experience suitable for students while also providing teachers with tools to manage live classes and student orders.
The Solution
I designed and developed a modular Flutter application with a consistent design system, reusable UI components, responsive layouts, and GetX-based state management.
The application provides a smooth navigation experience through dedicated sections for Home, Learning, Live Classes, Robotics Kits, Orders, and User Profiles.
Interactive Learning Experience
Students can explore robotics, AI, and coding lessons through an organized video learning module. Videos are grouped into learning categories and include lesson information, view counts, likes, sharing options, saved content, comments, and related lessons.
The video player experience includes playback controls, seeking, fullscreen mode, picture-in-picture style controls, and a dedicated lesson detail interface.
Live Classes
The application includes a dedicated live classroom experience for students and teachers. Students can discover active classes and join live sessions, while teachers can start and manage their own live classes.
The live classroom interface includes microphone controls, camera controls, camera switching, fullscreen support, live indicators, chat messages, and student interaction.
Comments and Student Interaction
Students can post comments and questions on learning content and participate in threaded discussions using reply functionality. Dedicated bottom sheets and reply dialogs provide a simple and focused interaction experience.
STEM Kit Marketplace
A complete shopping experience was integrated directly into the learning platform. Students can browse available robotics and STEM kits, check product availability, view discounts, open detailed product pages, add products to the cart, and purchase multiple items.
The product interface displays stock availability, discounted pricing, product descriptions, product benefits, images, and related educational information.
Shopping Cart and Checkout
The cart supports multiple products and quantities with real-time total calculations. Users can increase or decrease quantities, remove products, review the complete cart value, and proceed to checkout.
The checkout workflow includes delivery address selection, multiple saved addresses, map-based location selection, Cash on Delivery and online payment options, complete order summaries, and a clear order confirmation experience.
Location and Address Management
Users can save multiple delivery addresses and select locations through an interactive map interface. The selected location can be used during checkout for a more convenient delivery experience.
Order Management and Tracking
Users can view their order history and track each order through stages such as Placed, Confirmed, Shipped, and Delivered.
A dedicated teacher order dashboard allows teachers to search orders by order ID, student name, item, or date and view detailed information about each order.
Role-Based User Experience
The application supports different experiences for students and teachers. Teacher profiles display assigned class and section information, while teacher-specific features include live class management and student order monitoring.
Modern UI and Responsive Design
The application uses a consistent visual language with gradient elements, rounded cards, responsive layouts, clean typography, modern navigation, reusable components, and carefully designed empty states.
The interface was optimized for different Android screen sizes while keeping the user experience consistent across learning, live streaming, shopping, checkout, and profile modules.

Technical Implementation
The mobile application was developed with Flutter and Dart using GetX for state management, navigation, reactive UI updates, and controller-based application architecture.
Firebase services are used for application integrations such as notifications and real-time functionality, while REST API integrations connect the mobile application with backend services for user accounts, learning content, live classes, products, carts, orders, and profile information.
The project was structured into reusable screens, widgets, controllers, models, and service layers to keep the application maintainable and scalable as new learning and commerce features are introduced.
Result
The final application delivers a complete digital ecosystem where students can learn robotics and AI, attend live sessions, communicate with teachers, purchase educational kits, manage deliveries, and track orders without leaving the application.
By combining education, communication, live learning, and e-commerce into a single polished mobile experience, the platform creates a more engaging and practical learning journey for young innovators.
